The organization is in full preparation mode, built on no less than 32 years of experience from the Playball Baseball Academy. Over the years, Playball has successfully organized Softball Academies before — in Amsterdam and in Rosmalen with the Gryphons — and even a Playball Ladies Baseball Academy was once part of the program.
In 2026, it’s time for a fully dedicated Softball Summer Academy — and we’re hosting it at an iconic location: Haarlem, the true softball city with a rich and proud tradition in the sport. Top clubs such as Olympia (Dutch National Champion), Onze Gezellen, Sparks, and Kinheim compete here at the highest level. Together with leading clubs like Neptunus, ROEF, TexTownTigers, Red Lions, Pirates, and many others across the Netherlands, the growth of youth softball in Dutch Softball is stronger than ever.

PSSA26 is organized according to the proven Playball Instructional Academy concept, featuring intensive position training, hitting clinics, daily games, and full focus on your personal development — with Fun, Action & Discipline at the core.
